MONTREAL, Sept. 3

Cars, energy and the environment -

topics currently of keen interest - will all be on the agenda in Montreal,
September 28-30, as the city hosts PHEV'09, the conference and trade show
devoted to the latest technological breakthroughs in electric vehicles and
plug-in hybrids. The event takes place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel (conference)
and Complexe Desjardins (trade show).

Mobility Electric Canada, which is spearheading this international-scale
event, has lined up more than 80 conference speakers, from Canada, the United
States, Europe and Asia to share their knowledge and experiences, thereby
providing an extraordinary learning opportunity about the key technical,
commercial and political issues comprising electric mobility. Electric
mobility includes surface transportation and off-road vehicles using
electric-drive technologies provided by battery or grid connection, hybrid or
fuel cells.

"The success of last year's event clearly showed that electric mobility
is of primordial interest for these specialists from around the globe," stated
president Mike Elwood of Electric Mobility Canada. "The PHEV'09 program has
been developed with the aim of providing a forum for enriching discussions to
expand on the issues pertaining to these new technologies on which we base
considerable hope for the future."
